Effective 12 August 2026 · Data Stream Consulting LLC

Data Stream Consulting LLC (“Data Stream,” “we,” “us”) builds and operates lead-response software for local service businesses. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have. It covers two different groups of people, because we handle their information differently:

We do not sell your personal information, and we never share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers collected for text messaging are used only to deliver the messaging program you consented to, and are shared only with service providers who perform services on our behalf — messaging and telephony, hosting, scheduling, analytics, and AI processing — who may not use the information for their own purposes.

1. Information we collect

When you visit this website

When you contact a business that uses our platform

2. Text messaging (SMS/MMS)

If you provide your mobile number and agree to be contacted by text, you may receive messages about your request — for example a reply from the business, follow-up questions, or an appointment confirmation. Some of these messages are sent automatically, and automated messages identify themselves as such.

Messages are sent between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in your local time. Opting out is honored immediately and applies regardless of the time of day.

3. How we use information

4. Automated messaging and AI

Parts of our messaging are generated by automated software, including AI language models, to reply quickly and gather the details a business needs. Automated messages are disclosed as automated in the first message of any conversation. Information from your conversation is sent to an AI provider to generate a reply. We send no more than the reply requires, and the providers we use state that data sent through their programming interface is not used to train their models.

5. Call recording

If a phone call is recorded, all parties are notified at the start of the call, as Florida law requires the consent of everyone on the call. If you do not consent, you may end the call or ask that recording stop.

6. Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to deliver the service:

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

7. How long we keep information

Consumer contact and conversation records are retained for 24 months and then deleted, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to resolve a dispute. Consent and opt-out records are retained for the period required by applicable telemarketing law, because they are the evidence that your preferences were honored. Opt-out records are kept even after other information is deleted, so that a number that has opted out is never contacted again.

8. Your choices and rights

Contact us using the details below and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. If your information was submitted to one of our client businesses, we may need to direct your request to that business, since the information belongs to them — we will tell you if that is the case.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls limiting who can reach personal information, and encrypted off-site backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we design access so that each part of the platform can reach only the data it needs.

10. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above, and where appropriate we will provide additional notice.
